When this gem arrived on my doorstep I simply could not wait to share it with you guys. I always feel so feminine in white lace and this dress with its long sleeves and high neckline gives a nod to vintage style.

I am not sure whether it is the rain or just procrastination from my university exam study but (perhaps even a combination of both!) but I have been a little wild this week in my purchases and have ordered a few too many new threads… I am beginning to feel a little embarrassed of what the postman must think of me! Nonetheless I am looking forward to sharing my new purchases with you guys over the next few days… Xx

Ticking Boxes

Recently I have been getting an overwhelming amount of emails asking what I wear when I exercise. To be completely honest I am not the sportiest of girls! I normally just do a quick 30 minute walk each morning but that is the extent of my exercise regime! I find a short walk clears my mind and is a great time to pump some tunes and get some fresh air!

I have never done an outfit post showing my gym gear so this is a first for me! This week I will be dedicating my posts to fitness and fashion so here it goes! These are a few of my “exercise” staples …

Neon Pop

These lightweight, wide leg pants feature twin inverted pleats on the front, dual pockets at the hips and faux welt pockets at the back. Perfect for work with a sleeveless shirt and pointy stilettos or dressed down with a fitted knit and flats for a relaxed look you really just can’t go wrong. Not to mention they are SO comfy which is always a plus! Xx

Asymmetry

Yes yes this is another asymmetrical skirt post! Gosh this trend really is taking over the blogosphere! But how could I not blog this beauty? I actually shot this outfit about 5 weeks ago now but steered clear from posting it because there were just so many of those Zara Skort posts swamping my screen! But looking back over these pics I just had to share them with you. Beside from the assymetrical hemline which is so flattering on any body shape, the print is one of my all time favourites. Paired with a bright clutch and a plain tee you really can’t go wrong!

Dunbar House

Just a very quick outfit post before I dash to uni. I actually have an exam today and an 7000 word essay due tomorrow so probably shouldn’t be blogging but lets be realistic.. when has uni ever stopped me from sharing an outfit! Xx

Trail

I noticed so many trail dresses on the runway this year at MBFWA and although I have never owned a trail dress before (For some reason I always seem to feel like a penguin when I wear them and prefer my dresses to be either a mini or a full maxi) I decided to buy my first one! As soon as I saw this dress I knew I had to have it… And although I have absolutely no idea where I am going to wear this piece just yet… I know it will come in use soon enough! Paired up with some boots and a clutch it is the perfect outfit for any function. Xx

Boohoo

The Alice McCall show this year at fashion week blew me away. Mccall’s whimsical aesthetic and colour palette of soft seashell pink was juxtaposed with bold jewellery. So in the spirit of Mccall and her incredible new range I decided to feature an old favourite backless Alice Mccall dress of mine.

Oh… and this clutch arrived on my doorstep this morning from the lovely ladies at Boohoo Fashion. How could I not feature something so smiley =)

Winter Warmers

As winter approaches I am slowly rearranging my wardrobe and moving all my bikinis and singlets into those hard to reach higher spots and replacing them with my winter warmers. Jumpers and jeans are filling my drawers and although I am not ready for winter just yet… I am excited to wear some of my favourite jackets again. This red Trennery jacket is a winter staple and has been on my wish list for a while now. It spices up any outfit and can be worn on top of jeans, a dress or skirt. Apart from being the warmest jacket I have ever owned, it ads a burst of colour that always keeps me feeling fresh and is guaranteed to make you stand out.
