This friday was a public holiday in Sydney. With all the cafes/bars/shops closed we decided to spend the day on Sydney harbour… first on a friends boat and then on The Island. After a week of rain Sydney turned it up and the sun was shining all day. What a beautiful way to end the week. Hope you are all have a great long weekend! Xx

Last week I moved from beautiful Watsons Bay (where I have lived all my life) to Bondi. I set a goal to wake up every morning this week before 6am and watch the sunrise. I normally sleep in and skip what is actually my favourite time of the day. I can’t believe what I have been missing out on all this time!! Here are some of the beautiful sites I witnessed between the early hours of 6 and 7am…. Bondi you babe you….

The first image is from Monday morning. Whilst stretching at South Bondi I looked over to Ben Buckler rocks and it looked like the heavens were opening up! Absolutely incredible. The second image I took on Tuesday whilst doing the Bondi to Bronte… That rainbow… it has been a while since I have seen one of them!! The third image is of Icebergs where I had a swim (fresh sea water pools are my favourite!). Lastly… I borrowed my new neighbours dog Indie and took her for a walk on the promenade. I feel so lucky to wake up to this each morning!

Oh and you guys have been emailing me asking what my favourite beauty products are so I thought I would share with you one of my favourite products… the Model Co bronze dry touch sunscreen. I was sent a couple of the ModelCo products last month but out of all the cremes and products this is my favourite. It dries so quickly and protects your skin from any sun damage.

This week has been huge. I was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court yesterday, moved into a new home, started a new job and my dad had a health scare after having a stroke on Tuesday night! A lot to take on board and a very bitter sweet time for me. My dad is doing well (thank god!) and it was a wake up call to us all. Made me stop and think how lucky I am for my health and how each day is so precious (cliche I know).

In between all the journeys to and from the hospital, new apartment and work, the most beautiful printed top arrived on my doorstep from Backstage Presents. I have always loved supporting Australian labels but this one is especially special. Inspired by their love of art, film and music, Backstage the brand has its own enigmatic aesthetic in its collections with sleek lines, bold prints, textured fabrics and elegant shapes. The clothes are edgy, bold and bring out the little rebel in us all…. Yes I purposely chose to paint my nails rainbow hues the night before my admission ceremony (probably the only lawyer with pink, green and orange nails and googly eyeball rings! But hey… I guess that’s what makes me unique (or slightly inappropriate!)

This week has been a busy one as I am moving into a new apartment in Bondi on Saturday. It is bitter sweet because I am leaving beautiful Watsons Bay and Camp Cove beach but I am excited for the change! Whilst looking for new furniture I came across a site Wallabuy . It is pretty much a one stop shop for all things “home”. Apart from picking up some new pillows, candles and a rug… I also found this great clutch on their site. They have some awesome leather bags which I just couldn’t resist… put a colourful clutch in front of me and my credit card pretty much swipes itself = ) Hope your week is going well! I have a giveaway in my next post which I will be blogging in the next 2-3 days Xx

Wearing: Snakeskin harlequin clutch by Jfahri (purchased via Wallabuy), Shilla top, Shoes from Lipstik , Skirt from Alexander Wang (60% off too!) available here

GAHHH the frustration of not being able to get something you want from overseas is the worst! I have had my eye on the GOYARD TOTE for months now. My cousins from the USA came to visit us in December and they all had one. I fell in love with it and had to have one too…. only problem… GOYARD don’t sell to Australia!

Not having this tote was no option for me and god knows when my cousins will next be back in Australia… and I’m not waiting! I found a site that completely solved my problem CUZIN! It is so clever… basically they are a global shopping family so you list things you want from overseas and “cuzins” around the world get them for you… it is brilliant! Finally all those products I have been wanting (the HERMES tote which is double the price in Australia and doesn’t come out until 6 months after it is launched in the US) are now available to us!

CUZIN hasn’t actually launched yet but I was lucky enough to pull some strings. I loved the idea so much that I sent the founder an email as asked if my readers could have an exclusive invite to reserve their spot for when it launches. This means you will have access to all those products that you may have seen in a random market while you were travelling that you are kicking yourself about not having bought. Gone are the days where products are more expensive in your home city (finally!). Jump on their site if you want to check it out and you can reserve your spot here. You can list a “Want” and a “Getter” will be matched up to you in no time and you will be able to get anything you want. This GOYARD tote is the best … I have just ordered another one in black via CUZIN.

I am going to admit I have become a bit of a nail polish junkie! I can’t stop painting my nails in rainbow hues and even bought a set of glow in the dark nail polish the other day. Are my colourful mismatch nails getting a bit too much? I actually don’t even care… I love them = )

In other news Cobalt has emerged as this seasons most prominent hue and although I am not ready to wear an all blue dress just yet I happen to think this is the perfect autumn skirt! It’s vibrant, easy to wear and goes with just about anything (white or black). I have teamed it up with these shoes which happen to be the most comfortable heels you will ever put on your feet

Last week was my birthday! I had such a beautiful day. I started the day off at Icebergs for a swim and sauna, did the Bondi to Bronte with my brother and had lunch at my favourite cafe on Hall Street. I celebrated with a bunch of friends this weekend at a new Bar that opened in Double Bay called Casablanca! It was such a great week and I was spoilt rotten. I was also sent so many lovely shoes, bags and clothes from all the lovely designers I have been working with over the past 5 years whilst blogging.

What I’m wearing today: Top by Ladakh, Skirt by Three of Something, Shoes from ZU, bracelets from Templestones

This weekend was a crazy one! I went to Future Music Festival on Saturday with a bunch of friends (more about that and my outfit later), on a friends boat, celebrated a gf’s b’day at the Watsons Bay hotel and am currently sitting on my balcony star gazing after having a spa… what a weekend!

On Friday night I wore these lightweight printed pants. The ‘Dawn Floral Pants’ are tailored with pockets and a flattering tapered leg… so comfy and perfect for Autumn! In other news it is my b’day coming up this Thursday. I was very keen to let the day go unnoticed but my friends began planning a surprise party so to avoid any “surprises” I ended up organising my own party…. nek minute I had invited 250 people. Should be interesting! Xx
