How cute are these mint green lace shorts? When I am lounging around at home I love wearing these shorts. They are feminine and a much better alternative if anyone comes to my door than my boyfriend’s hoodie that I normally lounge around in… which is not flattering : ) Minty fashion is everywhere right now, from nail polish to accessories and recently I have spotted a couple of walls in cafes painted in this flirty colour.
Universally flattering for almost all skin tones, the hue matches perfectly with a combination of colours including white, black, peach, beige, navy and almost any other shade of the rainbow! These shorts are called the Mockingbird shorts from ShowPo and are available here.

I am really loving my “new” hair since the Wella pampering session I was treated to. My locks feel so soft and not nearly as dry. The luxury alchemy treatment they did was so moisturising and all the products they sent me home with really seem to be paying off! Who would have thought I could change the quality of my hair in just a few weeks by adopting their hair care regime.
Oh and some good news! I have teamed up with Wella Professionals and am giving one of my readers their own luxury Freelights experience at a Wella salon near you (capital cities only). To enter the competition all you need to do is post an image of yourself or your summer moment on Instagram. You must tag me (@aleygreenblo) and #wellafreelights to be eligible. I will be selecting a winner on the 24th of October. Unfortunately the competition is only open to Australian residents this time.
Anyway, enough about the hair and onto the outfit. Today I am wearing a little black dress with a pair of classic knee high boots. This weather is so confusing so I have a big trench in the car. Off to my friends engagement party this afternoon!! Yep… my best friend got engaged!!!

How cute is this ‘Pretty in Pink dress? It features a bold graphic print and cool detailed neckline. I styled it with black heels and my favourite Givenchy handbag to finish off the look. Thank god Spring his sprung! Loving this gorgeous weather and being able to wear dresses again!

On Saturday I was treated to the ultimate pampering session and tried out the amazing new Wella Freelight colour technology. Wella have released a new product to market called ‘Freelights’ which achieves a natural, sun kissed result.
Believe it or not, I actually have virgin hair and have never coloured it before. My locks seem to be in such poor condition lately (I admit it… I haven’t been trimming my hair regularly and have neglected my strands) so I was terrified to start messing with my hair and the potential damage highlights would cause.
I was blown away though by how gentle and subtle this new product is. The Blondor Freelights range from very subtle to quite noticeable. I asked for a very subtle change and actually regretted not getting more highlights by the end! I am definitely going to go back for more!
The Wella Freelights technology is amazing and I love that it doesn’t require foils to apply. It literally just creates a sunkissed look and uses a freehand application so it is customizable for each person. Thanks for the amazing experience Wella!

The detailing on this bag…. agh I die! No words. It is a true piece of art. Emilio Pucci just nail it every single time. I decided to keep things simple today but accessorise to give the outfit that little bit of extra impact it needed! I am loving these new Mavi black jeans though… perfect for day/night and so comfy!
Wearing: Red Fox jacket from Denmark, Emilio Pucci Handbag, Chanel Bangel all from Demi Rose in Double Bay, Mavi Jeans, Kardashian Kollection shoes.

Wow what a great week it has been. Life has finally gone back to normal after all The Bachelor hype has calmed down. Most of my days have started with a quick bowl of Freedom Foods Active Balance Cereal followed by witnessing some of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen in my life. This week I indulged a little and bought a pair of Saint Laurent boots I had been eyeing for a while and a Givenchy leather cuff… because why not! Happy Friday xxx

Finally I can reveal to you guys where I have been and why I haven’t been blogging over the last few weeks. I appeared on Channel 10′s TV series The Bachelor and although it was ever so briefly… I was contractually bound not to blog until the episode aired on TV. I went in as a potential new love interest to mix things up in the Bachelor House. It was a very interesting experience and whilst I can’t reveal too much, I wanted to share where my dress was from. This beauty is a Pallas Couture gown.
In other news, I went shopping this weekend and bought an amazing Givenchy trench coat and some Saint Laurent heels which I cannot wait to post in my next blog entry. I will be blogging frequently again now… sorry for the break! Xx

This past month I have been busy designing my own range of rings for a luxury jewellery business based in Melbourne Australia – Gemjoli. I have always loved accessories and for as long as I can remember I have worn more than 8 rings plus on my hands! Yes… that means several stacker rings on any given finger, midi rings, thumb rings and everything in-between. So when Gemjoli offered me this opportunity I jumped at it! At last my creations were sent to me and I got to feature them in today’s outfit post! You guys can design your own rings and custom make your jewellery on this site too. Gemjoli has changed the traditional brick and mortar shopping experience and you can personalise all your jewellery to suit exactly your preferences. My favourite ring that I designed is this XENA 18 carat yellow gold ring. It is bright, bold and beautiful and the central gemstone is round and radiant.
In other news… how cute is this outfit from MLM the Label? I discovered this designer last week and ordered these structured floral-embossed brocade fabric shorts and sheer shoulder blouse in Ivory. I also joined the Colette Clique last week which means I will be featuring lots of gorgeous accessories from one of my go-to one stop shops for accessories… Colette by Colette Hayman.
